Historical One Door Jelly Cupboard
Starting At$1650
The Historical One Door Jelly Cupboard stirs up memories of Fall family gatherings at grandma’s house, pitting cherries, smashing raspberries or peeling apples in preparation for jelly-making. Jelly cupboards became household staples in 19th Century households as rich fruits became more accessible. With high sugar content, fruits made into jelly could be stored for long periods of time…hence the need for what is now known as the jelly cupboard. While jelly cupboards are still perfect for jellies and canned goods storage, we’re hard pressed these days to find the time to make them ourselves! Enjoy this fine piece in your kitchen, dining room, pantry or even a hallway.
